Sir MVIT online treasure hunt

This is a link to the online treasure hunt organised by the CS department of Sir MVIT for their departmental fest 4th dimension.

This was our first time organizing such an event, so you might find it a bit out of place in the design dept.

Most of this was inspired by Klueless and you might find a few clues from their hunt on this too!

Inkscape

So, I've started learning Inkscape and maybe worked on 2 -3 tutorials.These are just a rough copy and still need to be edited more.
I first began with the Tux penguin,

 

I then, tried a postage stamp using the tux I made:

Light painting!

So, I was wondering what this term meant when I first heard it from Manjunath at IITM. We tried it out with Pratul's camera , who happened to be the only one with some experience in it.This pic was taken at about 4 in the morning in the computer science dept. corrider.It was my first try and turned out to be quite decent.

This word got really popular in all the light painting pics after that! :P

Manjunath turned out to be the creative one and put our meagre knowledge into some good use.We somehow got hold of a good DSLR with a 15 s shutter speed and even a tripod! We organized a light painting workshop during Kalanjali, our college fest and the turnout was quite good. The following are a few pictures taken during the workshop.Overall, a fun thing to do! (=
